The Sydney Metro is an automated train system, marking a groundbreaking milestone in Australia's rail industry. Our role focused on handling extensive document management across multiple platforms and registers for various stations.
The first step was a detailed examination of existing systems, document types, outputs, and project schedules. Additionally, keeping up with continuous updates from project managers added an extra layer of complexity.
To simplify and streamline the process, we introduced a centralised document management system. This system leveraged a master spreadsheet to efficiently track, monitor, and update documents across platforms.
Through team collaboration and knowledge sharing, we successfully transitioned the document system into a fully digital and automated format, improving efficiency and project workflow.
